Prior to working at the Vineyard, Eric worked as the pastor/planter of Celebration Community Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. He was also the Special Projects Editor and Communications Coordinator for Children's Ministry at the Nazarene Headquarters writing, traveling, and speaking on Children's Ministry, Discipleship, Outreach, and Youth Ministry. He has served on staff at churches in Ohio, Kansas, and Missouri, and was an ordained pastor in the Church of the Nazarene.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Religion and Biblical Languages from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and his Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Evangelism from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has also studied extensively in area of Church History, Theology, and the Bible.
Eric has been married to his high school sweetheart for over 15 years. They have a ten-year-old daughter named Brianna. He enjoys reading, writing, backpacking, and watching movies.
