Looking Ahead

Each year I try to set a few goals for the next year. I usually begin the first part of December, and give myself plenty of time to think and re-think my goals. I usually divide them up into several divisions: personal, spiritual, physical, family, and work.

While I am not done, here are a few of my goals for 2007:

Read through the Bible
Fast 2 days per month

Begin exercising (again!)
Drink water (coffee has water in it, right?)

Personal Goals:
Read 10,000 pages on various topics (fiction, leadership, church life, theology, preaching, writing, etc.)
Write 5,000 words per week

Family Goals:
Take a vacation

Write the church plant proposal
Start a small group
Learn Photoshop

What are some of the things you want to work on for the next year?
