Scott Adams at Dilbert Blog has a great post about Great Ideas. He says that most people can tell the difference between a "good" idea and a "bad" idea rather quickly. But practically nobody can tell the difference between a "Great" idea and "bad" idea until the great idea works.
Great ideas and Bad ideas both look crazy until the Great idea works.
